Welcome to Speaker Reel Day
You're about to have one of the best days of your speaking career.
Everything has been planned so you can focus on one thing: delivering your best performance on a world-class stage. The cameras, the lighting, the audio, the LED wall, the crew, hair and makeup, a professional photographer. All of it is taken care of. Your job is to show up prepared, trust the direction, and let the footage speak for itself.
Here's everything you need to know.

Arrive and Get Ready
Check in. Green room access. Hair and makeup is available for everyone (included). Second videographer begins capturing behind-the-scenes footage of you arriving, getting ready, and meeting other speakers.
Max Welcomes the Room
Brief welcome. Max walks through the day and sets expectations. One ask: make notes after each speaker performs. You may be asked to give a quick testimonial and specific details matter.
Reel Package Speakers Perform
Reel speakers film first. Morning energy. Max directs each performance from the floor. Everyone else is in the room watching. After each performance, a few audience members give quick testimonials while the next speaker gets mic'd up. A photographer is capturing everything all day.
Group Photo and Headshots
Group photo on the LED stage during lunch. Then every paid speaker gets professional headshots on the LED wall. About 5 minutes each.
Lunch
Lunch is provided. Network. Decompress. Enjoy the room.
Remaining Speakers Perform
Additional speakers take the stage. Same setup. Same quality. Max directs.
Audience Open Stage
Audience members get 5 minutes each on the stage with the full camera setup. One clean LED wall look. Quick and energetic.
Wrap and Networking
That's a wrap. Network. Celebrate. Go home knowing your footage is in good hands.
- Your script should be rehearsed and ready. You've been through direction sessions with Max. You know your story. You know your delivery. On the day, just deliver.
- Bring your outfit. Wear what was discussed during your direction sessions. Bring a backup. Avoid small patterns and bright white (they don't look great on LED walls).
- Hair and makeup is included. A professional hair and makeup artist will be on-site. Available for everyone. Reel speakers get priority since they film first.
- Stay for the full day. You're in a room of speakers who are all investing in their careers at a high level. The networking alone is worth showing up for. You'll meet potential referral partners, collaborators, and people who are going places. The relationships formed in this room will outlast the footage.
- Bring your energy. The cameras, the lighting, the audio, the LED wall, the crew. All of it is handled. All you need to bring is yourself.
Speaker Reel Day is a film set. Max is the creative director. When someone is on stage, the room is theirs.
That means phones away, laptops closed, eyes on the stage. Every speaker benefits from an engaged audience. The energy in the room shows up on camera. The testimonials you give are better when you've actually watched. And when it's your turn on stage, you'll want that same focus from everyone around you.
Come prepared. Your script should be locked before you walk through the door. The day is for performing and being present. No rehearsing in a corner. No running through slides on your laptop. No laptops at your seat. Bring a notebook and a pen for testimonial notes. That's all you need.
Be present for every speaker. You're here for the full day. Part of what makes this event work is that every speaker in the room is watching, supporting, and contributing to each other's footage. Max may ask the room to reset between performances. When he does, reset. This is how we create something great for everyone.
What You Need to Know
Each speaker gets one custom slide on the LED wall behind them during their performance. This is your branded visual environment. It can be your logo, brand colors, a photo, a texture. Animated content is encouraged. Movement on the wall creates a more premium, dynamic look on camera.
Your graphic must be submitted by July 5th. Max will review every submission and approve the design. If it doesn't look right on camera, Max will work with you to adjust it. This is part of the creative direction.
